You've done a lot of assuming and most of it has been wrong.
I understand the concept of leverage and never even alluded to it, much less mentioned it outright. That is because it would not be a legitimate example in support of my point.
However, I did mention several other examples which were neither ignorant or stupid. One of those examples was raiding a charitable fund for legal expenses, referenced in the article btw. Even as president he has done the same thing, as recent reports say that donations to his re-election campaign are being used to pay lawyers, representing both he and his son. Does that qualify as leverage? I don't think so, but maybe that's the new euphemism for profiting off the resources of others, of which he is immensely proud.
